Listen! Shimza Shares His Remix Of DBN Gogo’s Hit Single. Afro/house music producer and DJ Shimza expressed that though amapiano is popular at the moment and sees many established artists moving towards it, he will continue with the type of music he is known for.
With that being said, DJ Shimza did a remix verrsion of DBN Gogo’s hit single ‘Khuza Gogo’ and it received a yes from the fans. The song is collectively by DBN Gogo with Blaqnick and MasterBlaq, featuring Mpura, Ama Avenger and M.J. Listen below for Shimza’s remix of the track:

Though Shimza rejected DJ Maphorisa’s plea for house DJs to play amapiano, he sure has admitted that amapiano is doing fine without them, and that it is not right for all of them to be doing the same thing because their goals are not set out the same. “We can’t all do the same thing because we all have different goals and paths in our careers, ma brother. “Khuza Gogo” has been on the top trend for many weeks now since the song was delivered by DBN Gogo on her Amapiano Live Balcony Mix B2B (S2 EP8) which was anchored by the twin DJs Major League on their weekend mixtapes sessions. Since then various cuts of the song from the mix have been paving waves and since the demand was too high she had to drop the full original song. DBN Gogo, real name Mandisa Radebe, reportedly broke into the house music scene in 2019 and has played sets at the Basha Uhuru festival at Constitution Hill, Rocking the Daisies, Home Coming Africa and Afropunk.
