Botswana singer and songwriter Jinger Stone is celebrating a major career milestone after taking home two prestigious honours at the 14th Annual BOMU Music Awards, further cementing her position as one of the country’s exciting musical exports.
Held on Friday, August 28, 2026, the ceremony brought together some of Botswana’s leading musical talents, with Jinger Stone emerging as one of the night’s biggest individual winners. The singer secured the Best Single award for her song “Best Decision” and also walked away with Best International Achievement, recognising her growing influence beyond Botswana’s borders.
Her double victory placed her among the joint highest individual winners of the evening, alongside Issa Sisdoh and Dada Kavino. For Stone, the recognition represents more than just trophies, reflecting the growth she has experienced throughout her career and the support of the team surrounding her.

Originally from Molepolole and now based in Gaborone, the singer has steadily developed a profile that extends beyond Botswana, collaborating with artists from across the region and building a growing audience.
