The wait is almost over for CowBoii fans. The South African Amapiano artist and DJ has officially confirmed that his upcoming studio album, iKati Elimhlophe, will be released on 30 June 2026, giving supporters the announcement they have been eagerly anticipating.

CowBoii shared the exciting news on Instagram, where he unveiled the album’s official cover artwork and confirmed that the project is locked in for release. Keeping the announcement simple yet effective, he captioned the post: “30 June we up! 🐈 PRE SAVE ON BIO.” The brief message was enough to send fans into celebration as anticipation for the project continues to grow.

Over the past few months, CowBoii has steadily built excitement around iKati Elimhlophe, teasing fans with snippets and updates that hinted at one of his most ambitious projects to date. Now, with the official release date confirmed, listeners can finally begin counting down to what promises to be a significant moment in his career.

While CowBoiii has become widely known for creating energetic Amapiano hits that dominate playlists and dance floors, iKati Elimhlophe is expected to showcase another side of his artistry. The album reportedly explores more reflective themes, touching on personal growth, everyday struggles, and life experiences that many young people can relate to. By balancing emotional storytelling with infectious Amapiano production, CowBoiii aims to deliver a project that resonates on multiple levels.

Leading the album rollout is “uHAMBO 2.0,” a collaboration featuring Azi, Yung Silly Coon, and Miya. The single expands on a story introduced in one of CowBoii’s earlier releases, taking listeners on a journey that goes beyond physical travel to explore themes of self-discovery, resilience, and emotional growth. The track has already provided fans with a glimpse of the album’s deeper creative direction.

The 12-track project is also set for an international release, allowing audiences beyond South Africa to experience CowBoii’s evolving sound. It reflects the continued global growth of Amapiano while remaining firmly rooted in the culture and storytelling that have shaped the genre.

CowBoii’s musical journey began long before commercial success. His melodic style was nurtured through church choirs and community spaces, influences that continue to shine through in his music today. Those early experiences have helped shape an artist who effortlessly blends heartfelt songwriting with modern Amapiano production.

Having already amassed more than 123 million global streams and delivered fan favourites such as “eGoli” and “Mdantso Nyana,” CowBoii has firmly established himself as one of the genre’s standout talents. With iKati Elimhlophearriving on 30 June, fans are eagerly awaiting what could become his most personal and defining project yet.
