EeQue continues to cement his place as one of Amapiano’s most exciting stars, and his latest achievement is proof that his hard work is paying off. The talented vocalist and performer recently celebrated receiving multiple platinum plaques, marking another significant milestone in his fast-rising career.

The artist was awarded a 4× Platinum plaque for the smash hit “Yahyuppiyah” and a Double Platinum plaque for the fan-favourite anthem “Zotata.” Both records have enjoyed tremendous success on streaming platforms and dance floors, becoming some of the biggest Amapiano releases in recent years.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the accomplishment, EeQue shared a photo of his plaques alongside a humorous caption that read, “Go blow the dust off your plaques.” The post quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans, fellow artists, and industry peers, all celebrating the latest chapter in his remarkable journey.

The plaques are a reflection of EeQue’s growing influence in South African music. Over the past few years, he has established himself as one of the genre’s most recognizable voices, consistently delivering memorable performances on chart-topping collaborations.

His rise to international prominence began when he featured on the 2024 global viral sensation “Tshwala Bam” by TitoM & Yuppe. The song became a worldwide phenomenon, dominating streaming charts, social media platforms, and dance challenges across multiple countries. Its success introduced EeQue’s distinctive vocal style to audiences far beyond South Africa and positioned him as one of Amapiano’s breakout stars.

Following that career-defining moment, EeQue continued his impressive momentum with standout appearances on Uncle Waffles’ hit “Yahyuppiyah,” which has now achieved an impressive 4× Platinum certification. He also played a key role in “Zotata” by Pcee and Justin99, another crowd favourite that has now earned Double Platinum status.

Rather than slowing down after those successes, EeQue has continued to build on his growing catalogue. His “SNOKONOKO” series has further showcased his versatility, creativity, and ability to consistently produce music that resonates with fans of the Amapiano genre.

The latest certifications serve as another reminder that EeQue is not just enjoying a brief moment in the spotlight—he is steadily building a lasting legacy. His ability to contribute to chart-dominating records while maintaining his own unique identity has made him one of the most sought-after collaborators in South African music.

With multi-platinum plaques now added to his growing list of achievements and plenty of new music expected in the future, EeQue’s journey is only gaining momentum. Fans will undoubtedly be watching closely to see what milestones the talented artist reaches next.
