South African music stars Tyla and Shimza recently showcased their talents on one of the world’s most prestigious stages, delivering an unforgettable performance in Ibiza, Spain. Shimza launched the residency on 30 April 2026, performing every Thursday and introducing audiences to his signature Afro-house and Afro-tech sounds. Throughout the eight-week series, he transformed Pacha into a platform for African-inspired dance music while welcoming a diverse lineup of international guests.
Among the artists who joined him during the residency were Gordo, Bora Uzer, Francis Mercier, and Mahmut Orhan. Each performance brought a unique energy to the venue, attracting music lovers from around the world who flocked to Ibiza for its renowned nightlife scene.
For the grand finale, however, Shimza saved one of South Africa’s biggest global stars.
