Amapiano stars DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small are continuing to dominate conversations ahead of their highly anticipated Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium concert, and now fans are rallying behind one major request — the return of Samthing Soweto to the Scorpion Kings stage.

During recent discussions surrounding the upcoming event, DJ Maphorisa responded to fans calling for Samthing Soweto to perform by saying supporters should start a petition and gather 100,000 signatures if they truly want to see the singer return to the stage alongside the Scorpion Kings.

The comment immediately sparked excitement online, with fans debating whether such a reunion could finally happen after the fallout between the artists in 2024. The disagreement, which reportedly centered around unpaid royalties, led to tension between the camps and disappointed many supporters who admired their musical chemistry.

Despite the fallout, fans have never stopped hoping for reconciliation. Songs created by the Scorpion Kings and Samthing Soweto remain some of the most beloved in Amapiano history, with listeners often praising the emotional depth and soulful energy the collaborations brought to the genre. Because of this, the possibility of seeing them reunite at FNB Stadium has become one of the hottest topics surrounding the concert.

Social media users quickly reacted to DJ Maphorisa’s challenge, with many saying they would gladly sign the petition if it meant witnessing the reunion live. Some fans even began discussing how quickly 100,000 signatures could realistically be achieved considering the overwhelming demand already surrounding the concert.

The excitement around Scorpion Kings Live has already reached historic levels, with tickets selling at record-breaking speed and fans across the country eager to be part of the event. The idea of Samthing Soweto joining the lineup has only added another layer of anticipation to what is already shaping up to be one of the biggest nights in South African music history.

While neither Samthing Soweto nor Kabza De Small has officially confirmed whether such a performance could happen, DJ Maphorisa’s remarks have certainly opened the door to possibility. For many fans, a reunion would not only be a major musical moment but also a symbol of healing and unity within the industry.

As conversations continue online, one question remains at the center of it all — if fans really do manage to gather 100,000 signatures, will Samthing Soweto finally take the stage at FNB Stadium?
