Amapiano star and entrepreneur Lady Du is continuing to prove that her influence goes far beyond music. The multi-talented artist has officially launched a new business venture, introducing a haircare brand called “Wawa La Cutzie,” a project she is building as part of a lasting legacy for her daughter, Mia.

Lady Du recently took to Instagram to share the heartfelt story behind the brand, revealing that the journey began six months ago. She explained how she started using a traditional remedy passed down from her grandmother, which was believed to promote hair growth. To test its effectiveness, she cut her hair short and began using the product consistently.

According to Lady Du, the results were undeniable. After seeing positive changes in her own hair, she shared the remedy with a few others, who also experienced noticeable growth. Confident in its potential, she decided to take the idea to the next level by partnering with established haircare company AfroBotanics.

In her post, she explained, “When I saw that it works, I sold the idea to AfroBotanics. Because they’ve been in the business longer than I have, they agreed.” The collaboration brings together her vision and AfroBotanics’ industry expertise, creating a strong foundation for the brand’s success.

What makes “Wawa La Cutzie” even more special is the personal meaning behind it. Lady Du emphasized that the brand is dedicated to her daughter, describing it as part of a bigger mission to build generational wealth and a lasting legacy. “It’s official ke bahlali, I am building a legacy for my daughter Mia as this is her brand, her face, her salon,” she shared.

This move reflects Lady Du’s ongoing commitment to entrepreneurship and financial independence. Over the years, she has made strategic decisions to invest in businesses that not only grow her wealth but also create opportunities for her family and community.

Fans and supporters have praised her for thinking beyond her music career and focusing on long-term impact. Many have taken to social media to applaud her for using her platform to inspire others, particularly young women, to pursue business ventures and build sustainable futures.

Lady Du’s journey into the beauty industry also aligns with her broader vision of empowerment. By tapping into natural remedies and combining them with modern business practices, she is creating a brand that celebrates both tradition and innovation.

As “Wawa La Cutzie” begins to take shape, it’s clear that Lady Du is not just building a business—she’s building a legacy. With her determination, creativity, and passion, she continues to redefine what it means to be an artist in today’s world.
