South African sensation Tyla is proving once again why she’s one of the fastest-rising stars in global music. Her latest single CHANEL has reportedly sold over 100,000 units in the United States within its first month of release — an explosive achievement that underscores her mounting influence and mainstream appeal.

Released on 24 October 2025 through FAX/Epic Records, “CHANEL” has resonated hard with listeners, combining catchy hooks and dance-friendly rhythms with a confident, aspirational vibe. The song follows a string of hits from Tyla — and for many fans, “CHANEL” represents the strongest statement yet of her evolving sound and global ambitions. (Wikipedia)

Part of what fuels “CHANEL”’s success is its massive viral reach. The track has spawned a dance challenge on social media that’s already exploded, helping drive engagement across platforms and bringing new listeners into Tyla’s orbit. (TimesLIVE)

But the story doesn’t stop at social media. The numbers speak for themselves. In its first U.S. tracking week (Oct. 24–30), “CHANEL” racked up over 2.1 million official streams plus digital sales — enough to propel it to #1 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, marking Tyla’s third chart-topper in the U.S. after “Water” and “Push 2 Start.” (RTTNews)

Meanwhile, on streaming platforms, “CHANEL” has overtaken some of her previous hits to become her most listened-to song to date. Reports indicate it has already amassed over 30 million Spotify streams since release, making it her fastest-growing record so far. (TimesLIVE)

Tyla’s ascendancy with “CHANEL” is more than just a personal victory — it’s another milestone for South African and African music at large, reinforcing how genres like Amapiano and Afrobeats are dominating global playlists and influencing worldwide pop culture. As “CHANEL” continues to climb charts and rack up streams, there’s no doubt that Tyla is building a legacy with global reach.
