South African Amapiano powerhouse Mdu aka TRP is gearing up for another major moment in his career as he prepares to release “The Vault (Deluxe)” this Friday, October 24. The deluxe edition will feature five brand-new tracks, expanding on the success of his original project, The Vault, which dropped earlier this year in June.
The announcement came earlier this week from Sony Music Africa, who shared the exciting news on social media with the caption: “The Vault (Deluxe). 5 new bangers out the vault. 24 October made it out.” Fans have since been buzzing with anticipation, eager to hear what the prolific producer has been cooking up behind the scenes.
The Vault has already proven to be a massive success, racking up over 5 million all-time streams across major digital platforms. Known for his signature deep and soulful Amapiano sound, Mdu aka TRP continues to cement his place as one of the genre’s most consistent and innovative producers. His ability to fuse hypnotic basslines, layered percussion, and emotional melodies has earned him a loyal following not only in South Africa but also across the global Amapiano movement.
With The Vault (Deluxe), Mdu aka TRP aims to take listeners even deeper into his creative world. While details about the new tracks remain under wraps, fans can expect more of the intricate, soulful production that defines his sound. Industry insiders speculate that the deluxe tracks may include a few high-profile collaborations, continuing Mdu’s tradition of partnering with some of the biggest names in the Amapiano scene.
This release marks another milestone in what has already been a stellar year for Mdu aka TRP. From sold-out shows to growing international recognition, his influence on Amapiano continues to rise. The Vault (Deluxe) promises to showcase not only his versatility but also his commitment to pushing the genre forward.
As anticipation builds, fans are encouraged to mark their calendars and get ready to stream The Vault (Deluxe) when it officially drops this Friday, October 24.
