After captivating global audiences from London to Ibiza, world-renowned Amapiano collective Piano People is bringing its electrifying showcase home to South Africa for the very first time. On 30th December 2025, Cape Town will host a landmark edition of the international series — a celebration years in the making, and one that promises to be a defining moment for the culture.

Founded in 2021, Piano People has become one of the leading global ambassadors of Amapiano and African dance music. With a mission to amplify the sound, uplift artists, and honour the genre’s roots, the collective has hosted a string of sold-out shows across iconic venues like London’s DRUMSHEDS, the Ministry of Sound, and Afro Nation. Earlier this year, their Piano People in the Park event turned London into a full-blown Amapiano playground, drawing thousands of fans and earning global acclaim.

Now, Piano People is returning to the source — partnering with South African event powerhouse Anything Goes to bring the movement full circle. With the stunning backdrop of Cape Town in summer, the December 30th homecoming promises an unforgettable day of rhythm, unity, and cultural pride. Fans can expect a world-class production and a lineup that pays tribute to both the genre’s pioneers and its new wave of innovators.

This event isn’t just another party — it’s a milestone for a genre that started in the townships of South Africa and now moves dance floors across continents. As the global Amapiano community continues to grow, Piano People’s return to South African soil is more than symbolic; it’s a celebration of how far the sound has come, and where it’s headed next.

Presale registration is now open at pianopeople.howler.co.za and will close on Sunday, 19 October at 23:59 SAST. General ticket sales go live Monday, 20 October at 10:00 SAST — and with global interest already building, fans are encouraged to move fast.

Amapiano has gone worldwide. On 30th December, it comes home.
