The music world is witnessing a revolution as “Tshwala Bam,” alongside its remix featuring Burna Boy, sets unprecedented records and breaks new ground for the Amapiano genre.

“Tshwala Bam” has made a groundbreaking entry into the UK Singles Chart at #96, becoming the first pure Amapiano track to achieve this milestone. This remarkable feat underscores the global appeal of the genre and the exceptional talent of the artists involved.

The remix of “Tshwala Bam,” featuring the powerhouse Burna Boy, has achieved phenomenal success. It has captivated listeners worldwide, amassing over 32 million streams in just two weeks. The remix has dominated the Nigerian Spotify charts, maintaining the top spot for 20 consecutive days and averaging over 500,000 daily streams, a 57% increase from the previous week.

In the heart of the Amapiano revolution, TitoM and Yuppe, alongside the dynamic duo S.N.E & EeQue, have unleashed a seismic wave with “Tshwala Bam.” Since its official release on February 23, the track has dominated the charts with an impressive array of achievements.

TitoM shared, “To exceed what the song has already done, we needed to collaborate with someone who has global appeal but at the same time find a person who would not only maintain the original vibe of the song but also elevate it musically. Burna Boy was perfect for it.”

Yuppe added, “Working with Burna Boy was firstly a nerve-wracking and out-of-body experience. Yet he was accommodating and ensured we were comfortable.”

The future of Amapiano looks brighter than ever as “Tshwala Bam” and its remix continue to set new standards and captivate audiences worldwide. The song’s success is not just limited to international charts. “Tshwala Bam” has maintained its position as the #1 song on SA iTunes for three consecutive days, reflecting its immense popularity and the unrivaled talent behind its creation.

With 300,000 to 350,000 streams, the track is set to make a historic debut in the Top 5 on the SA Spotify Weekly Song Chart for 2024, further solidifying its cultural impact. The song’s achievements highlight the genre’s growing influence and the ability of Amapiano artists to create music that resonates globally.

The entry of “Tshwala Bam” into the UK Singles Chart marks a significant milestone for Amapiano, showcasing its potential to dominate international music scenes. As the genre continues to evolve and reach new heights, the success of “Tshwala Bam” serves as a testament to the global appeal of South African music and the innovative spirit of its artists.
