MFR Souls, one of Mzansi’s most celebrated Amapiano music duos, have finally addressed and denied the break-up rumors that have been circulating recently. Formed in 2012 by Tumelo Nedondwe and Tumelo Mabe, both DJs and producers from Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, the duo has been captivating audiences with their distinctive sound for more than a decade.

The rumors of a split gained traction following the release of an EP titled “Force Reloaded – Hurricane Selection vol.1” by Tumelo Mabe, also known as Force. This led fans to speculate about potential discord between the two members. However, in a recent interview, Mabe was quick to dispel these notions, clarifying the situation and reassuring fans of their unity.

“This thing is blown out of proportion. We are not splitting or planning to,” Mabe stated emphatically. “I decided to drop my mixtape, and we both contributed towards it. He has his own mixtape which I contributed to. If the mixtape platform works, it’s going to work for both of us.”

MFR Souls’ music is renowned for its unique blend of electronic music and Amapiano, a genre of South African house music that has gained global recognition in recent years. Their sound, characterized by energetic rhythms, soulful vocals, and electronic instrumentation, has made them stars in the South African Amapiano scene. Their songs are known for their danceable beats and catchy hooks, often described as both infectious and uplifting. The duo has been praised for their ability to create music that is not only lively and engaging but also meaningful, with lyrics that touch on themes of love, optimism, and resilience.

Despite the rumors, MFR Souls are firmly united and continue to push the boundaries of Amapiano. “The genre has a lot of subgenres, but at the moment it is growing around the globe. I’m happy to be among the pioneers of the genre,” Mabe added. “Amapiano is the future. Force and I are busy pushing our mixtapes movement. There’s a lot to offer within the genre.”

The duo is committed to their craft and shows no signs of slowing down. Their focus remains on creating music that resonates with their fans and contributes to the ever-evolving Amapiano genre. As they continue to work together, MFR Souls are poised to take Amapiano to new heights, proving that their bond and their music are as strong as ever.

MFR Souls are here to stay. The rumors of their break-up have been firmly put to rest, and the duo is more dedicated than ever to their musical journey, ready to continue making waves in the Amapiano scene.
