Djy Zan SA, has quietly exited Mr. JazziQ’s Black is Brown Records. The Sgija producer left the label a few months ago and has now launched his independent label, Smooktlyrecords.

Djy Zan SA was signed to Black is Brown Records in 2021. During his time with the label, he released several notable hits, such as “Jaivane” with Royal Musiq, and collaborated with a number of top producers and vocalists. Just a few weeks ago, the label released his final productions via the album “G4ssed.” The 10-track album included some standout tracks, including “Hamba No Zani.”

The launch of Smooktlyrecords followed his departure from Black is Brown Records. According to Djy Zan SA, the new imprint aims to encompass a broader sound and variety of Sgija while also promoting his Harvard sound. This shift represents a new chapter in his career, with a focus on expanding his musical horizons and creating a more diverse range of music.

The exit of Djy Zan SA may be bittersweet for many Amapiano fans who have followed his growth as a Sgija producer. However, the future looks promising for the young producer and DJ. He has already released “HM” with Boips through his new label, indicating that he is poised to continue making waves in the industry.

Emerging electronic and Amapiano performer Djy Zan SA hails from Johannesburg, South Africa. His distinctive style, which blends electronic beats with traditional African rhythms, has quickly garnered him a following in the South African music scene. Known for his exuberant performances and infectious sounds, Djy Zan SA has become a popular figure in both the Electronic and Amapiano music genres.

As Djy Zan SA embarks on this new venture with Smooktlyrecords, his distinct style and growing popularity are sure to propel him to even greater heights. His music is set to captivate listeners around the world, and with his own record label, he has the freedom to explore new creative directions and push the boundaries of his sound.

The departure from Black is Brown Records marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another for Djy Zan SA. With his talent and vision, the sky is the limit for this rising star in the South African music scene. Fans can look forward to more innovative and exciting music from him in the future.
