Kamo Mphela Reacts To Being Name Dropped In Mass Country. Kamo Mphela was born on 29 November 1999 in Soweto, South Africa. Not much is known about her early life besides the fact that dancing has been her passion from an early age.Kamo Mphela’s father Onitiaf Mphela was part of YFM and took her to events where she performed on stage, opportunities that helped her to hone her love for on-stage live performances.

The late rapper AKA has mentioned amapiano star and dancer Kamo Mphela on one of the songs on his Mass Country album. It’s disheartening to many fans, friends and colleagues that the rapper isn’t alive to witness the release of the album, but it’s also comforting to them that the project is doing pretty well.

AKA mocked those who think they are as good as the dancer on the song titled, Mbuzi. He said, “okay you got a few dances..you think you’re Kamo Mphela.” Kamo expressed excitement and she feels honoured to be mentioned by the rap star. She calls it a blessing.

It all began when the dancer caught the attention of fans with a viral video of her dancing on social media. She has since become an expert in dancing for Amapiano and other genres including Gqom, Kwaito, and Pantsula. Before her viral video, Kamo Mphela was an extra on the show Isibaya before realizing that music was her golden ticket and at the back of her killer dance moves, she’s already earned the title Queen of Amapiano.
