Amapiano star Kelvin Momo has taken to social media to show love to his lover, Babalwa M who is celebrating her birthday. Momo has been creating production mixes and churning out songs for close to a decade, earning him a reputation as one of SA’s most sought-after producers. “I used to listen to the soothing jams of R&B singer Tamia and Swiss harpist Andreas Vollenweider… they helped shape the way I perceive and listen to music. I admired how detailed their music was along with the arrangement of their songs, which highly influenced how I produce my music now,” he added
“My father used to play music a lot when I was younger specifically jazz that’s where my love for music began. I then started to familiarise myself with different genres and that’s when I realised that music somehow sets my soul on fire,” said the 28-year-old from Diepkloof, Soweto.
