Major League DJz React To Cassper’s Manager Admitting They Didn’t Believe In The Twins’ Move To Amapiano From Hip Hop. Major League DJz are primarily known as a hip-hop duo, but they have always had a fondness for kwaito and house—remember singles of theirs such as “Bizness” and “Slyza Tsotsi.” Major League have become industry chameleons that know how to stay on-beat with current music trends, and have been hailed as the prime force behind new age kwaito. Today, they are one of the leading amapiano acts in the country.

Like most people, Cassper’s manager shared that he also doubted their move from Hip Hop to Amapiano, however, they have proved to be the best at creating music despite the genre. “Major League DJs weathered the storm when they switched from HipHop to Piano, not many believed in the vision.. we still supported as brothers but we definitely didn’t believe. Now their stubborn vision working. I’m so happy to have been wrong @MAJORLEAGUEDJZ KEEP FORCING,” he wrote.

The twins duo replied by saying they are thankful for the support. The stars are working hard on representing the sound globally, more especially recently having to play amapiano at one of the world’s biggest music concerts Coachella. “Thank you bro for supporting regardless,” they reacted.

At the tender age of five, twins Bandile and Banele Mbere (above), who were born in Boston in the United States, moved to South Africa. When they were 16, they threw the ‘Robot Party’ which ended up changing their lives. Professionally, the duo started off as promoters, having hosted some of the country’s biggest parties. “So when we started DJing, we started at our own parties when artists or DJs wouldn’t make it to their sets on time,” Mbere said.
