Lady Du Urges Upcoming Artists To Register Their Own Companies And Shy Away From Agents. Duduzile Ngwenya, known as Lady Du is a South African Amapiano artist and DJ. She was born in 1991 in Vosloorus, Gauteng, South Africa, where she also grew up. Her father DJ Choc, is a veteran RnB disc jockey. He influenced her passion for music.

The uZuma Ke Yistar singer says she curses the day she signed her management contract and alleges that they, “tell people that I am not available for bookings”. She revealed that she asked her previous management to cancel all the bookings they took for her and that she will manage herself. “Morning Guys, here are my new booking details I have asked my old management to cancel all the bookings they took, so to fix that and continue with the booking kindly contact my new booking number 🙏🙏🙏🙏It’s now safe to say Ladydu owns every single thing that belongs to her.”

She also urged upcoming artists to register their own companies and shy away from signing contracts “To young and upcoming artists register your own company, don’t sign any contracts, open an office and run everything through a booking agent that just does bookings!!!! Other people don’t have your best interest at heart!!! They are vultures!!!!!!Thank you for all your support! And to my lawyers I love you guys, lesego.”

In a series of tweets last month, Lady Du revealed how her management team is sabotaging her career. “Guys, I’m going through it, I tell you. I curse the day I signed my management contract,” said Lady Du.

She told her fans that her management team was doing her great injustice. Instead of finding and booking her gigs and promoting her work, they have been blocking her by telling promoters that she was not available. Meanwhile, she was sitting home waiting for bookings. “My manager is telling people I’m unavailable for bookings. He says he doesn’t work on weekends, and doesn’t pay me on time. Mind you, I don’t work for him, he gets paid off my bookings!!! Has started taking cash from promoters. I’m in hell guys. I’ve been crying every day nje.”
