Watch! Lady Du Reacts To A Video Of DJ Fresh Ignoring A Female Fan On Stage. Lady Du, real name Dudu Ngwenya, first learned how to play at the tender age of nine. Since then and during her early adult life, she had been trying to get a successful break into the music industry. Though she made songs with renowned producers such as DJ Clock, DJ Mshega and DJ Maphorisa (back when he still did gqom) in 2013, 2014 and 2018 respectively, her breakthrough only came under a year ago through the track “Superstar”, alongside revered amapiano deejay and producer Mr Jazziq.

With the video of DJ Fresh playing at one of his gigs, a female fan went on stage to join the DJ and perhaps hope for a picture with the star. However, DJ Fresh was just not having it. The DJ proceeded to even look up not paying attention to the female fan. Lady Du has reacted to the video laughing at it saying it is also how she is going to be until the year ends.

In January 2021, a woman in Pretoria accused the duo, real names Thato Sekwana and Themba Nkosi, of allegedly raping and drugging her 10 years ago.In a Twitter post, she called for the two to acknowledge they had raped her, saying she was a virgin at the time of the incident. She said she had to take anxiety medication before she could speak about it on social media. The woman, who cannot be named, publicly named them on Twitter and opened a case of sexual assault against them at the Sunnyside Police Station in Pretoria in January 2021.

Thato Sikwane, better known by his stage name DJ Fresh, is a Motswana disk jockey, producer and entrepreneur based in South Africa. He is most well-known for his career on 5FM and Metro FM. National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided last month to pursue the case against the former radio hosts.
