Lady Du Reveals When She Will Drop Her First Single Of 2022. Lady Du is currently one of the hottest voices in amapiano. Born into a family of musicians, her father DJ Choc and uncle DJ Zan D are reputable deejays and producers. Lady Du, real name Dudu Ngwenya, first learned how to play at the tender age of nine. Since then and during her early adult life, she had been trying to get a successful break into the music industry. Though she made songs with renowned producers such as DJ Clock, DJ Mshega and DJ Maphorisa (back when he still did gqom) in 2013, 2014 and 2018 respectively, her breakthrough only came under a year ago through the track “Superstar”, alongside revered amapiano deejay and producer jazziQ.

Taking to Instagram, Lady Du shared that she will be dropping her first single of 2022 and it will drop next week Friday which will be on the 18th of March. The single is titled ‘Malunde’ and features the likes of Mellow and Sleazy, and Djy ma’ten. See artwork of the forthcoming single:

In a series of tweets, Lady Du had revealed how her management team is sabotaging her career. She told her fans that her management team was doing her great injustice. Instead of finding and booking her gigs and promoting her work, they have been blocking her by telling promoters that she was not available. “Guys, I’m going through it, I tell you. I curse the day I signed my management contract,” says Lady Du.

Meanwhile, she was sitting home waiting for bookings. “My manager is telling people I’m unavailable for bookings. He says he doesn’t work on weekends, and doesn’t pay me on time. Mind you, I don’t work for him, he gets paid off my bookings!!! Has started taking cash from promoters. I’m in hell guys. I’ve been crying every day nje.”
