Sizwe Alakine Reveals He’s Considering To Squash Beefs Following Riky Rick’s Passing. Vuzu’s The Hustle winner Flex Rabanyane held out an olive branch to Reason, aka Sizwe Alakine, in an attempt to squash his beef with the rapper. The two rappers’ feud started in 2018 when Flex took to Twitter claiming he paid payola to a Metro FM employee but never had his song playlisted on the station, and Reason reacted to the post saying he was worried about him.Flex then threw insults at Reason on Twitter which he later turned into a diss track titled For Whatever Reason.

For some, mental health – particularly among men – is being prioritised. Others like fellow rappers Reason and Flex Rabanyan have realised that it’s time to quash their beefOne thing many have realised is that life is short and we should live each moment like the last.

He tweeted over the weekend: “Riky’s death got me thinking that maybe it’s time to squash my beef with that other broer [brother]. Starting to feel like it’s not worth it to harbour bad energy till one of us dies.

RIky’s death got me thinking that maybe it’s time to squash my beef with that other broer. 😔

Starting to feel like it’s not worth it to harbour bad energy till one of us dies.

I mean. We ain’t gotta be friends. But we don’t need to be enemies neither.

Flex penned a public apology to Reason on Facebook, sending him well wishes for his career.“After seeing the recent suicide stats, I’d like to apologise to Reason/Sizwe Alakine. I respect him for feeding his family and wish him the best in future with DJ Maphorisa,” he wrote.

The rapper continued in the comments section of his post, saying he was aware his words could have led to his detriment or contributed badly to his mental health.“I’m not one to continuously apply pressure that might kill my fellow brother. We are already dying at an alarming rate. Why promulgate that when I hold so much power at my fingertips.”
