DBN Gogo Signs Deal With Major South African Record Label

DBN Gogo Signs Deal With Major South African Record Label. Mandisa Radebe, popularly known as DBN Gogo is a South African female DJ and producer who gained attention after she featured on the Channel O Lockdown House Party in 2020. Prior to her feature on the popular Live show, she had had successful stints at DJing until her big break. Her outstanding performance on the show drew so much attention to her, causing her to become one of the most talked about female DJs in South Africa from 2020 into 2022.

DBN Gogo is taking her career to the next level as she officially inks a new music deal with Universal Music South Africa. In what marks a first, the leading Amapiano female DJ-producer teams up with UMG Africa to launch her record label, Zikode Records. With the introduction of Zikode Records, DBN Gogo prepares for the release of many albums under the stable and is currently gearing up for her first release under UMG – a vibrant single titled ‘Bambela’ which features Amapiano’s Young Stunna and Pabi Cooper. The track is set to be released soon.

DBN Gogo was originally born in Durban, but grew up with her parents, Jeff and Bridgette in Pretoria. She also spent 4 years living with them in France. She has stated that living in France exposed her to a large variety of music and artistes. She lived most of her life in Pretoria, and has stated that it is where people majorly know her from.

She is very fluent in French owing to the time spent in France. She is also a Law student, and a massive fan of SA Hip Hop. DBN Gogo has stated that she loves travelling.
