Busta 929 And Lady Du Wish The Late Mpura A Happy Birthday

Busta 929 And Lady Du Wish Thee Late Mpura A Happy Birthday. It was reported that both Mpura and Killer Kau were involved in a fatal car accident, on their way to a gig in Rustenburg. Upcoming artists Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe, DJ Thando Tot and TD are believed to have been with the pair in the car and died as well. In a statement, te department of transport, roads and community safety spokesperson Boitshoko Moremi said on August 7, six people died in a head-on collision on the N4 in Rustenburg near the Marikana toll gate. 

It’s the late Mpura’s birthday today, and his friends took to social media to share tributes and wish the late star a heavenly birthday. Lady Du is among the closest to Mpura and wrote, “Du ncela ung culele 😢💔😭 ay Mpura happy heavenly birthday my friend ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love and miss you.”

Busta 929 also wished Mpura a heavenly birthday. He took to social media to share an old video of them together captioned, “Happy birthday Dlonti ntwana yam.”

Mpura shone bright recently during the rise of the amapiano genre, having been part of great collabs that gave Mzansi hits including Umsebenzi Wethu. Killer Kau, real name Sakhile Hlatshwayo, burst into the spotlight when he was “discovered” on Twitter.

Some amapiano artists who have shared tribute t to the let stars are the likes of Oscar Mbo, DJ Sbu, JazziQ, DJ Tira, Kabza De Small and more. DJ Oscar Mbo took to Instagram stories sharing his tribute. “Very sad morning. amajita always had great spirits and very jolly too. Death is such a painful thing. Doubt I can [get] used to it. Thank you to the contributions to the industry and the urban culture over all. Rest in peace Mupralazi. Rest in peace Killer. Rest in peace The Voice,” he wrote
