South African Amapiano producer and DJ Xduppy is showing no signs of slowing down as he prepares to release not one, but four collaborative projects with some of the genre’s exciting talents.
The producer recently took to Instagram to reveal that he has several joint projects in the works, giving fans plenty to look forward to in the coming months. According to Xduppy, the upcoming releases include collaborations with Angekebuye MC, Sleazy, Benzoo and Optimist Music ZA.
Sharing the exciting update, Xduppy wrote: “Upcoming projects. Xduppy & Angekebuye is EP, Xduppy x Sleazy EP, Xduppy x Benzoo EP, Xduppy x Optimist EP.”
The announcement has immediately created excitement among Amapiano fans, particularly because each collaboration brings together artists with different approaches to the genre. Rather than focusing on a single release, Xduppy appears to be preparing an extensive run of collaborative music that could keep his name on the charts and in conversations throughout the year.
His upcoming EP with Angekebuye MC is particularly interesting following the duo’s growing creative relationship. The project promises to give listeners an opportunity to hear what the two artists can create when given an entire body of work rather than a single collaboration.
Xduppy is also teaming up with Sleazy, one half of the acclaimed production duo Mellow & Sleazy. Their partnership has the potential to deliver a hard-hitting Amapiano project, with both producers known for creating energetic records that connect strongly with dancefloor audiences.
The producer has also confirmed an EP with Benzoo, adding another highly anticipated collaboration to his growing list of projects. Benzoo has continued to make his presence felt within the Amapiano scene, making this another partnership fans will be watching closely.
The fourth project will see Xduppy collaborate with Optimist Music ZA, another rising name who has been building momentum through his production work and collaborations. Their joint EP could provide another opportunity for both artists to showcase their individual sounds while experimenting with new ideas.
Xduppy has already established himself as one of the notable producers of his generation, and these four projects show that his ambitions extend beyond individual singles.
With four joint EPs currently in the pipeline, fans now have plenty of new music to anticipate. Although release dates and tracklists have not yet been revealed, Xduppy’s announcement has made one thing clear: there is a lot more music coming from his camp.
