2026 is shaping up to be the year of Thatohatsi. The fast-rising Amapiano vocalist has cemented herself as one of the biggest stars in South African music after taking over the Apple Music charts with the country’s three most-streamed songs. It is a remarkable achievement that reflects her incredible consistency and growing influence within the Amapiano scene.

The talented singer currently occupies the top three positions with the smash hits “Ama Hem Hem,” “Rapela,” and “Izospana.” Having three songs simultaneously dominating one of the country’s biggest streaming platforms is a rare accomplishment and further proves that Thatohatsi has become one of the most sought-after voices in South African music.

Each of the songs has resonated with listeners for different reasons. “Ama Hem Hem” has quickly become a fan favourite following its release, while “Rapela” has finally arrived after months of anticipation. “Izospana,” meanwhile, continues to enjoy massive support from fans and remains one of the defining Amapiano records of the year.

As the milestone continued to make headlines, Thatohatsi took to Instagram to thank everyone who has supported her remarkable journey. Sharing her gratitude, she wrote:

“Before you run to the last slide please read. Thank you so much to everyone who genuinely contributed to my craft. Thank you for listening to my music, reposting, commenting and rooting for me. The last slide would’ve never been like that if it wasn’t for you guys. May the good Lord bless y’all. Thank you. Ama Hem Hem out now!”

Her heartfelt message was met with an outpouring of love from supporters, fellow musicians and industry figures who congratulated her on an incredible run. Many praised her humility and acknowledged the hard work that has gone into building one of the most successful years of her career.

Born Thato Raphadi, Thatohatsi has steadily become one of Amapiano’s most celebrated vocalists. Her soulful delivery, emotional performances and ability to adapt to different production styles have made her a favourite collaborator among the genre’s biggest producers. Whether delivering heartfelt melodies or infectious hooks, she continues to leave a lasting impression on every record she touches.

Her success in 2026 also highlights the growing importance of female voices within Amapiano. Alongside some of the country’s leading vocalists, Thatohatsi is helping shape the future of the genre while inspiring a new generation of artists to pursue their dreams.

With multiple chart-topping records, millions of streams and widespread industry recognition, the singer has firmly established herself as one of the defining artists of the year.

If her current momentum is anything to go by, 2026 belongs to Thatohatsi. From dominating Apple Music to winning over audiences across the country, she continues to prove that her rise is no coincidence. As fans eagerly await her next move, one thing is certain—Thatohatsi is only getting started, and the future looks brighter than ever.
