Amapiano superstar Kabza De Small has officially pushed back the release of his long-awaited album Tutu once again, leaving fans with a longer wait for one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The album, which was originally expected to arrive on 31 July 2026, has now been rescheduled for 28 August 2026.

The announcement has sparked mixed reactions across social media. While many supporters expressed disappointment after preparing for this week’s release, others remain optimistic and believe the extra time will allow Kabza De Small to deliver another classic project worthy of his reputation.

For months, Tutu has been one of the most talked-about upcoming Amapiano albums. Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from the genre’s “King of Amapiano,” with expectations growing every time the producer hinted that the project was nearing completion.

The latest postponement means listeners will have to wait almost another month before finally hearing the album in full. Despite the delay, excitement surrounding the release remains incredibly high, proving the level of trust fans have in Kabza De Small’s ability to consistently deliver quality music.

Over the years, Kabza De Small has established himself as one of South Africa’s most influential producers. Through groundbreaking albums, chart-topping singles and unforgettable collaborations, he has helped shape the global success of Amapiano. His work with artists such as DJ Maphorisa, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, Ami Faku, Mthunzi and many others has produced some of the genre’s most iconic records.

His consistency has earned him millions of fans both locally and internationally, making every new project a major event within the music industry. That is why news of the postponement has become one of the biggest talking points among Amapiano supporters this week.

Although many were looking forward to streaming Tutu on 31 July, the new release date gives Kabza and his team additional time to perfect every detail of the project. Delays are often frustrating for fans, but they can also ensure that artists release music that meets their own creative standards.

Social media has already been flooded with reactions, with some fans admitting they are disappointed while others have encouraged the producer to take all the time he needs. Many believe the final product will justify the extended wait.

The postponement also means August is shaping up to be an exciting month for Amapiano, with Tutu now joining a growing list of highly anticipated releases scheduled for later in the month.

For now, fans can only continue counting down to 28 August 2026, when Kabza De Small is expected to finally unveil Tutu. Given his remarkable track record and lasting influence on the genre, expectations remain incredibly high, and many believe the album will be well worth the wait.

Until then, supporters can revisit Kabza’s impressive catalogue while eagerly anticipating what promises to be another landmark release from one of Amapiano’s greatest pioneers.
