The viral screenshots reportedly show a conversation between an event promoter attempting to book Boohle for a performance in Muldersdrift in September 2026 and a man identified as her manager, Rock. The discussions quickly sparked controversy after many social media users accused the manager of responding rudely and unprofessionally during the booking negotiations.
According to the leaked chats, the promoter initially reached out to inquire about Boohle’s availability for the event but allegedly experienced delayed responses. The situation reportedly became more tense when the promoter was quoted a booking fee of R80,000 despite previously being told that the artist’s booking fee was around R30,000.
The screenshots further showed several responses from the manager that online users described as “cheeky” and dismissive, causing widespread criticism across social media platforms.
Many South Africans expressed concern that such interactions could negatively affect Boohle’s reputation and potentially cost her future bookings if promoters begin feeling uncomfortable working with her management team.
