Lady Du has publicly honoured fellow Amapiano heavyweight Mr JazziQ with a deeply personal and emotional birthday tribute, crediting him for playing a life-changing role in both her career and personal journey.

Taking to Instagram, Lady Du shared heartfelt photos of the two of them together, accompanied by a lengthy message that reflected on the profound impact Mr JazziQ has had on her life. She began her tribute with raw emotion, writing, “Where do I even begin 😭😭😭,” before detailing how he helped shape her early steps in the Amapiano industry.

“You didn’t just help me start my amapiano journey you gave me a foundation,” she wrote. “When I was unsure at times, you saw potential in me. You guided me, encouraged me, and gave me opportunities that changed the course of my life. Because of you, I found direction and confidence.”

Beyond music, Lady Du revealed that Mr JazziQ stood firmly by her side during some of her most painful personal moments. Reflecting on the loss of her father, she shared how his presence brought comfort during her darkest days.

“When I buried my father and my world felt shattered, you stood by me. You didn’t disappear when things got heavy. You showed up in my grief, offered strength when I had none, and reminded me that I wasn’t alone in my pain. That kind of presence is something I will carry in my heart forever. That is why I call you my second Father.”

Lady Du also credited Mr JazziQ for supporting her entrepreneurial ambitions. As someone who has expanded her brand beyond music into business ventures, she highlighted his unwavering encouragement when she launched her first company.

“When I took the leap and opened my first business, you were there again believing in my vision, supporting my dream, and celebrating that milestone as if it were your own. Your encouragement gave me courage,” she wrote.

In addition, she revealed that during a medical condition that forced her to stop working for three months, Mr JazziQ stepped in without hesitation.

“You didn’t just offer sympathy you offered real help. You lifted a burden off my shoulders during a time when I truly needed it. That generosity and compassion speak volumes about your heart.”

Describing him as a mentor, guardian, and blessing, Lady Du concluded her message with a heartfelt prayer for his new year, wishing him peace, health, success, and joy. Her tribute makes it clear that their bond extends far beyond music — it is rooted in loyalty, gratitude, and genuine brotherhood.
