Addressing growing speculation and intense pressure from social media, the singer shared a deeply personal explanation rooted in industry challenges, self-preservation, and her journey into motherhood.
Taking to social media, Dinky revealed that her absence from the charts has nothing to do with a lack of creativity or love for music. Instead, she has spent nearly a year attempting to free herself from what she describes as a “really bad contract” that has left her unable to officially release new material.
“People have been really aggressive in my DMs and comments about dropping music and getting back in studio,” she explained. “So here’s what’s up… I’m struggling for almost a year to get out of a really bad contract.”
According to the vocalist, the deal has tied her hands creatively and professionally. “Even if I make music, I can’t drop it,” she said, highlighting a reality many artists face behind the scenes. Using her experience as a warning, Dinky urged upcoming musicians to think carefully before signing contracts, adding, “Don’t run after money, you’ll end up in the wrong situation.”

Beyond contractual battles, the singer also opened up about a major life change that reshaped her priorities: motherhood. Dinky revealed that she welcomed a baby and intentionally stepped back from her career to focus on raising her child.
“I’m not going to let other people raise my child because I’m chasing something that’s not beneficial to me right now,” she said firmly. “My kid comes first.”
