Young Stunna is continuing to make waves in the South African music industry, but the amapiano star is currently facing an unexpected setback after sustaining a leg injury that has left him on crutches. The award-winning hitmaker, born Sandile Msimango, revealed on social media that he injured his knee during an incident in East London on December 15.

Taking to his platforms, the Adiwele vocalist opened up about the circumstances surrounding the injury, placing the blame on what he described as “unprofessional and negligent conduct” by a local promoter. According to Young Stunna, the incident occurred while he was fulfilling a work commitment, resulting in a knee injury that now requires medical attention.

“Due to an incident resulting from unprofessional and negligent conduct by an East London promoter on December 15, I sustained an injury to my knee and am currently seeking medical attention,” he shared with his fans. The artist confirmed that doctors have advised him to rest, forcing him to put several performances on hold while he focuses on recovery.

As a result, Young Stunna has had to cancel a number of shows scheduled for later this month. The affected performances include events at Gillian Ngoyi Stadium in Secunda, Vosloorus Stadium, Hurricane Lifestyle in Katlehong, Vkulee501 & Skroef28 Homecoming in KwaLichaba, Soweto, CSA Showground in Potchefstroom, and Kroonpark Holiday Resort in Kroonstad. The cancellations come as a disappointment to many fans who were eagerly anticipating his high-energy performances.

The singer issued a heartfelt apology to everyone impacted by the sudden changes. “I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to event organisers, their sponsors, and most importantly, my supporters,” he said. “Your understanding and continued support is greatly appreciated.”

Despite the setback, Young Stunna reassured fans that this is only a temporary pause. He confirmed that his team is already working on rescheduling the affected gigs and promised to return stronger once he has fully healed. “I look forward to making it up to you soon. Thank you for your patience, love and unwavering support,” he added.

Young Stunna also shared images on his Instagram story showing his leg wrapped in bandages as he moves around with crutches. Captioning the posts, he wrote, “Be back soon” and “My new buddies,” keeping his trademark optimism intact. With his voice recently recovering and now his leg injured, the star’s electrifying performances are on hold—but fans remain confident that his comeback will be worth the wait.
