The countdown is officially on as The Plug — South Africa’s freshest cultural experience — lands at The Social Link on Saturday, 15 November 2025. This highly anticipated event promises an unforgettable fusion of music, fashion, and energy, bringing together some of the country’s most influential artists and tastemakers.
Leading the charge is none other than Zee Nxumalo, the platinum-certified Amapiano starlet whose dynamic sound and magnetic style have made her one of Mzansi’s most powerful new voices. Known for chart-topping hits like Funk 55, Thula Mabota, and Ama Gear, Zee continues to redefine South African youth culture with her soulful vocals, boundary-pushing production, and a fearless embrace of authenticity.

The Plug’s 2025 edition is set to be a celebration of the sounds of Bantu, featuring a lineup that reads like a who’s who of the country’s most vibrant acts. Expect high-energy sets from Bizizi & Kaygee, lyrical fire from Touchline, and eclectic beats by Miza, Dr Thulz, Sobzeen, Stu, Deja Vu, and Scelo P. Together, they’ll transform The Social Link into a playground of rhythm and culture — a place where music, style, and identity merge under one pulse.
From Ngisakuthanda to Actions over Captions and Ukuphumelela, the night promises a journey through storytelling, unity, and unapologetic African pride.
With doors open from 2PM to 2AM, The Plug will keep the vibes flowing from day to night. Early birds can take advantage of happy hour specials from 15h00 to 18h00 — including a 6-pack deal at just R150 on all beers and ciders.
