Amapiano star Young Stunna has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding the delay of his highly anticipated album, “Busisiwe.” While fans have been eagerly waiting for the project, the chart-topping vocalist has opened up about the decision to postpone the release — revealing that the album will now drop in 2026.
Young Stunna, known for his vibrant vocals and spiritually grounded artistry, shared that the album is fully completed. However, the final decision to delay its release came after a crucial conversation with his mentor and producer, Kabza De Small, whom he affectionately refers to as his father.
“Oh, let me tell you, the album is done, but my dad (Kabza De Small) said we need to push it back — like that’s the truth,” Stunna explained. According to him, Kabza felt the timing simply wasn’t right, citing the intense pace of the music industry this year and the need to give the project the full space and attention it deserves.
“My dad said we need to push back because there’s a lot of things going on this year… and he feels like we should just give my album space and go back to my spirituality,” Stunna added.
The “Adiwele” hitmaker also shared that the delay has given him time to reconnect with himself on a deeper level. He emphasized that this spiritual grounding is essential, especially as he continues to evolve not just as an artist, but as a person.
“I’ve been connecting with myself a lot. So, the album is pushed back,” he said.
Despite the disappointment among fans, Stunna brought some excitement by teasing major collaborations that will feature on the album. He revealed that he has been working with several of his musical role models, promising a wave of powerful features and fresh sounds.
“I’ve been doing a lot of music with, like, my role models as well. So, there’s a lot of music that’s coming out,” he confirmed.
Though the wait for “Busisiwe” is longer than expected, Young Stunna reassured fans that the final product will be worth it — enriched with purpose, personal growth, and collaborations that highlight his evolution.
With 2026 now set as the new release year, anticipation continues to build, proving once again that Young Stunna remains one of the most influential and spiritually rooted voices shaping Amapiano today.
