South African vocalist Sino Msolo has issued an official apology to his fans after he missed his scheduled performance at the PondoLand Times Annual Spring Music Fest on 27 September. The star, who has built a reputation for his professionalism and dedication, explained that his absence was due to logistical failures beyond his control.
In an official statement released by Sino Msolo Records and Talent Vanguard Agency, the team clarified the chain of events that led to the disappointment. According to the statement, all logistics for his performance had been finalized well in advance, and Sino Msolo landed at King Shaka International Airport at 11:35 AM on the day of the event.
However, the designated collection vehicle arranged by the promoters only arrived around 7:00 PM, leaving the artist stranded for several hours under what his team described as “unacceptable conditions.” Despite showing patience and professionalism, the matter was not resolved with the urgency it required. By 9:00 PM, his team had no choice but to withdraw him from the performance.
“This outcome was deeply regrettable and not a reflection of Sino Msolo’s commitment to his fans, but rather a result of logistical negligence beyond our control,” the statement read. “We pride ourselves on professionalism and respect in all our engagements, and we expect the same from our partners and event organisers.”
The statement went on to reassure fans that Sino Msolo remains committed to delivering world-class music experiences, and negotiations are already underway with other venues for upcoming summer shows.
Fans who were eagerly awaiting his set expressed disappointment online, but many praised the singer for his transparency and professionalism in addressing the issue.
Sino Msolo himself expressed regret for letting down his supporters, emphasizing that he values the love and loyalty his fans have shown him over the years. “We sincerely apologise to the fans who anticipated this performance,” his team noted, adding that he looks forward to making it up with future live shows.
With his star continuing to rise in the Amapiano and soulful house scenes, Sino Msolo remains one of the most respected voices in South African music. While the PondoLand no-show was unfortunate, his commitment to quality and accountability ensures that fans can still look forward to unforgettable performances in the near future.
