TitoM and Yuppe, emerging stars in the Amapiano scene, have teamed up with Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy to release a music video for their viral hit remix, “Tshwala Bam (feat. S.N.E).” Directed by the acclaimed The Alien, the video showcases the vibrant culture and energy of Lagos, Nigeria, capturing the essence of collaboration and cultural fusion.

The “Tshwala Bam” remix video is more than just a visual representation of the song; it is a celebration of the fusion of South African and Nigerian musical elements. TitoM and Yuppe, despite being relatively new to the Amapiano genre, have crafted sounds that invite listeners on a journey of rhythm and energy. The original track, featuring S.N.E and Eeque, blends Amapiano’s piano elements with Kwaito flairs, while Burna Boy’s rendition retains these majestic elements, infusing them with Afrobeat-influenced vocals.

The remix, which has collectively amassed over 100 million global streams, is currently one of the biggest Amapiano records ever released. Burna Boy’s contribution has solidified its dominance and relevance in the Amapiano music scene, bringing the genre to a broader audience.

TitoM opened up, “We wanted the video to reflect the energy and joy of ‘Tshwala Bam.’ Collaborating with Burna Boy and filming in Lagos brought an authentic vibe that we’re excited to share with our fans.” Yuppe added, “The visuals are as vibrant and dynamic as the song itself. The video perfectly captured the spirit of our collaboration.”

Since its release on May 15, the remix has achieved remarkable milestones. It debuted at #1 on Spotify Nigeria, making it the first Amapiano song to achieve this feat. It also hit #1 on Apple Music Nigeria within 48 hours and became the biggest-ever Amapiano debut on Spotify Nigeria Charts.

Burna Boy’s dynamic presence and electrifying performance elevate the video, bringing his signature flair and connecting with fans in a visually immersive experience. The Lagos backdrop adds authenticity and depth, highlighting the city’s bustling atmosphere and rich cultural landscape.

Burna Boy also added, “Jumping onto this song was pure fire—it’s more than just music, it’s a fusion of our vibrant cultures. We’re celebrating this beautiful, universal language that connects us all!”

Originally released on February 23, “Tshwala Bam” quickly became a global sensation, amassing 12.3 billion TikTok views and over 100 million streams across digital platforms. The remix, featuring Burna Boy, has only heightened the track’s popularity, setting the stage for this much-anticipated music video release.

This remix has effectively brought together South Africans and Nigerians, captivating audiences with its infectious sound and vibrant visuals. As TitoM, Yuppe, and Burna Boy continue to push the boundaries of Amapiano, they demonstrate the unifying power of music and cultural fusion, resonating with fans worldwide
