Tyla, the dynamic South African musician, is gearing up for her highly anticipated tour, and she’s bringing some homegrown talent along for the ride. The “Water” hitmaker recently revealed her desire to showcase the unique dance skills of South Africans when she finally hits the stage.

In an interview, Tyla expressed her excitement about the upcoming tour and her decision to incorporate South African dancers into her performances. She emphasized the special connection that native South Africans have with dance and the vibrant energy they bring to the stage. According to Tyla, there’s a distinct rhythm and infectiousness that comes from being immersed in South African culture, particularly the culture of Amapiano and its accompanying dance styles.

“When I say ‘I want South African dancers,’ I want South African dancers!” Tyla exclaimed. “Obviously, people are learning the dance moves, but it’s different. When you’re born in South Africa and immersed in the culture, the culture of Amapiano and the dancing – there’s a different rhythm that you have.”

“It’s just so infectious when we perform, and I really want people to feel that when they come to my show. I want people to feel the energy come off the stage.”

The Grammy Award-winner’s decision to feature South African dancers on her tour has been met with praise from fans across Mzansi. One fan CasablancoOh said: “Unfortunately, no matter how great American dancers are, they don’t have that thing!” Many have applauded her for showcasing local talent and staying true to her roots. South Africans have long been revered for their dancing prowess, and Tyla’s choice to highlight this talent on an international stage is both commendable and exciting.

Tyla’s commitment to representing South Africa in a positive light extends beyond her tour. As she continues to dominate the charts both at home and abroad, she remains a proud ambassador for her country. With each chart-topping hit, she reaffirms her place as one of South Africa’s most promising musical exports.

As fans eagerly await the start of Tyla’s tour, anticipation is building for what promises to be a spectacular showcase of music, dance, and South African culture. With her infectious energy and undeniable talent, Tyla is poised to leave audiences captivated and inspired as she takes the stage alongside her fellow South African dancers.
