Tik Tok Stat Seemah Signs To Sony Record Label As She Drops Her First Amapiano Single. TikTok star and influencer Seemah is the star she’s always wanted to be.The 21-year-old, whose real name is Sima Mangolwane, has taken over the world of TikTok by storm and hit over one million followers.

Seemah, who hails from Khayelitsha in Cape Town, said she has always wanted to be a star and she’s reached her goal.She’s known for making funny videos on the platform and her followers are growing steadily.

She has more than 1.5 million followers on TikTok and 616 000 on Instagram. The influencer has managed to leverage her social media influence to land a deal with Sony Music Africa as an amapiano artist. On the day she debuted her single, Sony Music announced their partnership on their socials and posted a teaser of her track. Seemah promoted her song on Instagram and was in disbelief that she was officially a music artist. She said: “Wow, this feels like a dream.

Seemah said she came across TikTok in 2020 and it changed her life.“Late 2020, I joined TikTok and enjoyed it. Unfortunately about a year later in April, my account was banned. But because I enjoyed it so much, I didn’t give up and I opened another account. Starting all over was clearly what I needed because I got so many followers and they are still growing,” said Seemah.
