On Wednesday, the actor and comedian will perform the first of four shows in South Africa at the GrandWest Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town. He will then travel to Pretoria, where he is scheduled to perform his Reality Check stand-up show on 17 and 18 February at the SunBet Arena, Times Square.
The event is a phone, smartwatch and recording device-free show”Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space,” per the Big Concerts website. Ticketholders will therefore be provided with “individual Yondr pouches” to secure all devices. Pouches will only be allowed to be opened at the end of the event. “Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. Before returning to the performance space, all devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches.”
