While Toss might have been dubbed one of the kings of amapiano dance in Mzansi, he’s ready to spread his wings and occupy new territory as the ambassador of Cassper Nyovest’s Billiato. The announcement of Toss’s ambassadorship saw half-naked promotion pictures of the musician in a bath, inspired by Tupac’s iconic image by American photographer David LaChapelle.
This saw the snaps go viral on social media with many crying plagiarism by Cassper and his team. “I saw people say it looks gay or that I should have shaved, or that we are stealing 2Pac’s idea but its all inspiration. I don’t care about hate, it doesn’t faze me. I can only entertain love,” Toss revealed.
For Toss, real name Pholoso Masombuka, being affiliated with Cassper in any way is a dream come true, so working with the rapper in such a capacity is the cherry on top.“I always knew Cassper and I were going to meet, that we would speak but I never knew it would happen like this … for a person I looked up to for years as coming from the hood just as he is.
