K.O Fires Shots At Lady Du In New K.O Freestyle Verse. Ntokozo Mdluli (born 13 October 1980), known professionally as K.O, is a South African rapper. He began his career as a member of Teargas, a hip hop group which released its debut album titled K’shubile K’bovu (2006), followed by Wafa Wafa (2008), Dark or Blue (2009) and last album Num8er Num8er (2012).
Taking to Twitter this morning, K.O. promised his fans that he was going to drop a freestyle in a bid to get things off his chest and he did deliver upon his promises. “Been truly blessed summer 22/23 and #SETE is going Diamond 💿 soon! K.O. fired shots at amapiano star LadyDu for her reaction to ‘SETE’ getting gold and goes into political concerns as he raps about Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala drama. The rapper wasn’t all about blowing steam at his naysayers as he went on and gave a shout-out to Blxckie and YoungStunna for their contribution to ‘SETE.’
The beef between Lady Du and K.O started last year after Lady Du went to her Instagram story to mock SETE for not reaching gold despite its self acclaimed success but two days later, RiSA released SETE data, certifying its PLATINUM status. Addressing the unnecessary hate from Lady Du, K.O has released a dissed track aimed at her and other haters.“Sneak disses is something I don’t want to see a Lady Du (Do)… You posted on your stories that I’m acclaimed just sad that there wasn’t Gold but then a day or two RiSA certified me PLATINUM, how do that make you feel?” – K.O said
