Lady Du Shares Her Last Conversation With Riky Rick A Day Before His Passing . Memorial and funeral arrangements are under way for local rapper Riky Rick as friends, fans and family members remember him, not only for his muscial talent but his humility and kindness. The rapper and singer died on Wednesday at the age of 34.

Lady Du has taken to social media to pay tribute to the late rapper Riky and even shared that he emptied his cup to fill hers, referencing to how Riky called her to check up on her the day before his passing. “I guess this was goodnight, I’ve felt sooo much pain the past few months that I’m actually numb, I don’t even know the stage I’m in now. I’m hurting because you emptied your cup to fill mine, checking up on me just yesterday, when you needed the same type love and light!!! I’ll always love you big bro ❤️ rest now. heaven is rich,” she wrote.

“Son, husband, father, brother and uncle, Riky ‘Ricky’ Makhado (34) sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning (23rd February) in Johannesburg,” said a statement released on behalf of the family.

“Affectionately known as Riky Rick across the globe, he was deeply loved by his family, friends and the entire entertainment industry. His love for family, friends, and community is well known. Riky’s nurturing and developing of young musical talent is well documented and will forever be remembered,” the statement continues.
