Kamo Mphela Reveals The Pet Animal She Wants. Kamo Mphela is a South African dancer turned musician who became an internet sensation after she posted a video of her dancing on her social media account. She is the featured voice and dancer behind the Amapiano hit songs Sukendleleni and Labantwana Ama Uber.

Kamo is riding on her new found fame as the queen of the dancefloor with her sleek moves. She recently shared that she wants a pet animal of a dog for herself. See tweet:

While Kamo receives major love from fans, she’s also had to deal with the negativity that comes with being in the public eye.A few months ago, Kamo had to set the record straight on swirling pregnancy rumours, explaining she had merely gained weight. “Guys, I’m not pregnant, yoh! How many times? I just gained weight, OK? It’s those dollars, the dollars are making me look pregnant. Everybody is like ‘Is Kamo pregnant?’. I’m not motherf*%#en pregnant. You guys frustrate me all the time. I’ve been hearing your stories and sh*t. I just became thick,” she said on Instagram Live at the time.

Talking about her career, the dancer revealed that she wants to make the most out of her fame because it doesn’t last very long. “The fame doesn’t last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That’s what people don’t understand. It’s not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary” She adds.Detailing her rise to fame, Kamo also told the story of how her biggest song, Jobe came about. “Jr met Jobe and after a video of me promoting the song went viral on Twitter they wanted me on the track. The song was already done and I put my vocals on it.” She explains. “I didn’t even know that the Jobe song had splits.”
