DJ Slade(The Boy Slade) Leaves ‘Kreative Kornerr’ Record Label. DJ Slade, also known as The Boy Slade hasn’t been around for long, but he is making his presence felt in the music industry. His debut song Barman, released in March, started the momentum. By the time he released his latest single Wamuhle, he had already made a name for himself.

DJ Slade, who has been signed under Zeus Omega and Kai’s label, Kreative Kornerr for some time now, recently came forth to announce on Twitter that he was breaking ties with the label. He gave different contacts on which he can be reached for bookings going forward, and said that he wished the company the best, and is excited about his new journey. The company also responded to the tweet, calling him a legend wishing him all the best.

It is also alleged that the founders of the record label have been giving attention to Uncle Waffles only while neglecting other artists. One fan who supported his decision wrote: “Great move man.. Kai and Zeus showed they are rookies by failing to balance managing you an Waffles…how can two managers head to Ghana and Tanzania with one artist leaving you to fend for himself in SA… Pathetic…keep doing your thing bro…”

“It took me years of learning, practicing, and finding my unique style and sound to be able to confidently stand up and say I am a DJ.”  He released his very first song in Barman in March 2021, and his career took off. Slade recalls his first gig. “I was still unsure but I knew that music was my passion but I wanted to do it right.”

Slade spent a few years in the studio practicing his DJ skills and learning from others. “The bookings, parties, and events are a small part of the bigger picture, it’s all about practice and making sure you master your craft while people are not watching.” And indeed he has managed to master his craft, pulling audiences from across the world.
