Cassper Reacts To His 8 Months Old Son Major Achievement. Cassper Nyovest whose real name is Refiloe Maele Phoolo is regarded as one of the most successful music artist in the country with countless hit tracks, many of which are hip hop which we already knew him with, and now having tapped into amapiano with an album. The superstar is a proud dad to an 8 months-old boy named Khotso, and has since been sharing father and son moments on Instagram and even in his music.
Cassper recently dropped an amapiano album which was well received by his fans and Mzansi overall. The album topped the trends list the day it was dropped, and now music charts. ‘Khotso’ which is the first track of his album, dedicated to his 8 months old son, has made history for both Cassper and his son, Khotso. Taking to social media, Cassper wrote, “Khotso is the youngest charting South African artist of all time. At 8 months my son made it to No 4 on ITunes with his feature on Khotso, which is a song dedicated to him. Mara di cheese boy di phela monate yong! Danko Mfanaka! Ke tlala ka wena!”
This comes after the rapper dropped a piano project which houses of about 10 dope yanos tracks and features other top notch music artists in the country like Abidoza, Samthing Soweto, LuuDadeejay, Kammu Dee, Lady Du, Ma Lemon, Semi Tee, Boohle, DJ Sumbody, Reece Madlisa, Thulz, and Zuma as he strives to create history.
Cassper started the movement with his “Khotso” track where he chose to go solo before connecting with Abidoza and Samthing Soweto to join him in celebrating the “Joy” in his heart amidst his new born baby. He didn’t stop there as he also partnered with Abidoza on 4 other tracks Ubumnandi, Piano Prayer, Siyathandana and Ama Number Ayi ’10, though the 4 tracks were accompanied by the skilled efforts and vocals of LuuDadeejay, Kammu Dee, Lady Du, Ma Lemon, Semi Tee, and songstress Boohle.
