Here’s How Much Busta 929 Charges For Gigs Locally And Internationally. Busta 929 rose to fame after his hit track ‘Umsebenzi Wethu’ became a viral hit. The record producers and piano kings Busta 929 and Mpura decided to lighten up the 2020 lockdown Christmas vibes with an amapiano song Umsebenzi Wethu where they featured Zuma, Mr JazziQ, Lady Du and Reece Madlisa. With amapiano being the biggest genre at the moment, amapiano artists are currently making a killing from bookings.

Busta 929 reveals how much he charges for gigs and the challenges that comes with being an artist, he says that some promoters want to negotiate his fees and they fail to meet the requirements of his hospitality rider. Speaking on some of the challenges of being an artist in South Africa, Busta said: “Firstly, some people don’t want to give us what we are worth. For example, I charge 50k right now locally, and 20k when I skip the province. I present my price to the promoters, and they don’t want to give e the full amount.”

While for a package of Busta 929, Mpura, and Malome Vector costs R40 000. Another package of Busta 929, DJ Maphorisa and Sjava costs R76 000.

Busta also spoke on his first car explaining that he was excited and could not believe that his dreams had come true. “I’m happy that I have reached my dreams and have reached my goals. I didn’t believe that I had bought my first car,” he added.

“Umsebenzi Wethu” has been the talk of the town since the track was released and thus flaming up and creating a dance challenge. To some yanos heads, the track will continue topping the chart of their favourite amapiano songs for as long as amapiano is relevant. “I knew that Umsebenzi Wethu would be a huge song when I was still making it. And I made sure that the song becomes a hit, because I was very sad when I made that hit.
