Just when it seemed like AnchorBee DJ SA had gone quiet, the rising Amapiano producer has returned with a brand-new collaboration that is ready to bring the Kasi energy back to the forefront. Teaming up with Kom Da Perc and Tots SA, AnchorBee DJ SA has officially released “Ekasi,” a high-energy record made for the streets and dancefloors.

AnchorBee DJ SA is no stranger to crafting impressive Amapiano productions. Over the course of her journey, she has delivered a number of notable records, including “Drum Killer” with Kabelo Sings and Mr Nation Thingz, “Hola” with ShakaMan YKTV, Kat Elimhlophe, Rishbeats and Nkukza SA, as well as “Steel Drum” with Tycoon and MDU aka TRP.

These collaborations have helped showcase her ability to experiment with different elements of Amapiano while maintaining a strong production identity. Her understanding of rhythm, percussion and groove has continued to separate her from many emerging producers within the genre.

As a tutee of the highly respected MDU aka TRP, AnchorBee DJ SA has had the opportunity to learn from one of the genre’s influential producers. That experience has helped shape her approach to production and given her a strong foundation as she continues developing her own sound.

Now, almost a year after the release of her last album, AnchorBee DJ SA is back with another production that invites listeners to reconnect with her musical world. “Ekasi” sees her join forces with Kom Da Perc and Tots SA, resulting in a collaboration that brings together different creative perspectives while remaining firmly rooted in Amapiano.

The title itself gives listeners an indication of the record’s purpose. “Ekasi” is a celebration of township energy, culture and the atmosphere that continues to influence South African dance music. From its production to the performances, the track carries an unmistakable street-inspired identity.

The collaboration also highlights AnchorBee DJ SA’s continued creative individuality. Rather than simply following existing trends, she uses “Ekasi” as another opportunity to showcase her production skills and explore a sound that feels authentic to her musical journey.

With Kom Da Perc and Tots SA adding their own flavour to the record, the three artists create a track designed to get listeners moving while paying homage to the Kasi.

After spending time away from the spotlight, AnchorBee DJ SA has made her return count. “Ekasi” is more than just another Amapiano release; it is a reminder that her production journey continues to evolve, with plenty more energy still waiting to be unleashed.

For the Kasi, this one is right at home. Be sure to stream “Ekasi on didgital platforms HERE.
