South African singer and songwriter Makhanj is continuing the story of her acclaimed debut album, Transkei, with the release of the official visualizer for “Khanindifake,” featuring ZANI. The visual accompaniment arrived on August 23, adding another creative layer to the song as Makhanj further brings the world of her debut project to life.
Makhanj shared the exciting news with her followers on Instagram, posting a short teaser to introduce the visualizer and encourage fans to watch the full release on YouTube. Alongside the announcement, the singer also acknowledged the creative team behind the project, highlighting the collaborative effort that helped transform the song into a visual experience.

“Khanindifake” features ZANI, a rising South African producer, songwriter and DJ whose musical work stretches across Amapiano, Deep House and Soulful House. His contribution adds another dynamic voice to a song rooted in deeply personal themes, including the pursuit of financial breakthrough, personal growth and the patience required while waiting for the right moment to arrive.
The visualizer was directed by multidisciplinary artist Tony Gum, while The Filmmaker was responsible for cinematography and editing. Skyframe Africa handled drone piloting, with Mbali KM taking charge of makeup. NusKool, Location Loaded and Impilo Productions are also credited among the co-producers who helped bring the release together.
