South African Amapiano artist Nvcho has added another exciting collaboration to his 2026 catalogue with the release of “Izintombi,” a new single featuring TshegoDeDjy, Zwayetoven and Pacino. Released on 12 August, the track introduces a more energetic side of Nvcho, following a deeply introspective chapter with a record built for movement, connection and late-night listening.
Nvcho announced the release on Instagram with his trademark sense of humour, using a playful message to draw attention to the song and its central theme. Rather than a traditional promotional statement, the artist joked about his money being taken while encouraging fans to stream the new release.
“Pumpkin uthate imali yam 😭 Anyways izintombi out now please stream so I get my money back 🙏🏾💔,” he wrote.
The humorous rollout gave fans an early glimpse into the relationship-driven themes surrounding “Izintombi” while allowing the music to speak for itself. The song brings Nvcho and TshegoDeDjy to the forefront, with Zwayetoven and Pacino adding their own contributions to the collaboration.
Performed in isiZulu, “Izintombi” gives the artists room to explore its subject matter through an extended Amapiano production. The release is available globally through Universal Music South Africa, with Emapantsuleni Records also associated with the project.
The single arrives after a particularly personal period in Nvcho’s career. In March, the artist released Letters I Didn’t Send, an 11-track solo album shaped by the loss of his father. The project offered listeners a vulnerable perspective on his life and artistic journey, showcasing a more reflective side of his creativity.
Nvcho has also remained active in collaborative spaces, contributing to projects such as Kings Of Kwapi Vol. 1 alongside Sam Deep and Stixx, as well as Dust 2 Dust. “Izintombi” therefore represents a shift in energy, moving away from the emotional weight of his previous work and towards a more dance-focused sound.
The collaboration with Zwayetoven also carries a sense of familiarity. The pair have previously worked together on “Amantombazana,” making their latest collaboration another chapter in their creative partnership.
With TshegoDeDjy, Zwayetoven and Pacino joining him, Nvcho has assembled a compelling lineup for “Izintombi.” The new single highlights his versatility while reinforcing his ability to move between introspective storytelling and infectious Amapiano collaborations.
Now available across major streaming platforms, “Izintombi” gives fans another opportunity to experience Nvcho’s evolving sound as he continues to build his 2026 catalogue.
