A cross-continental collaboration is making waves as South African stars Focalistic and CIZA join Nigerian artist NO11 on the highly anticipated remix of “HOW FAR.” The revamped track also features Nigerian performers Famous Pluto and Ayjay Bobo, creating a powerful musical bridge between South Africa and Nigeria.

The original version of “HOW FAR” was released in December 2025 as part of a dual single titled HOW FAR / SHIMA II. Credited to NO11 alongside Ayjay Bobo and Monochrome, the track gained traction across major streaming platforms and digital music spaces. Built on rhythmic Afrobeat influences blended with melodic elements, the song resonated with listeners for its infectious groove and catchy vocal arrangements.

Now, the remix elevates the original by introducing fresh perspectives and new sonic textures. Focalistic steps in with his signature flair, delivering a dynamic verse that fuses his Pretoria-rooted rap style with Afrobeat rhythms. His energetic cadence and charismatic presence add a vibrant South African touch, giving the track a broader continental appeal.

CIZA, known for his smooth vocals and Afro-pop sensibilities, complements the production with a melodic and polished contribution. His vocal tone blends seamlessly into the Afrobeat foundation while adding a fresh layer of harmony. Together, Focalistic and CIZA inject renewed energy into the song without overpowering its original essence.

Famous Pluto and Ayjay Bobo further amplify the remix, ensuring that the Nigerian core of the track remains intact. Their performances maintain the authenticity and rhythm that defined the first release, while the added South African elements create a rich fusion of styles.

The collaboration highlights the growing synergy between the Nigerian and South African music industries. Both countries continue to dominate the African music landscape globally, and remixes like this demonstrate how artists are increasingly working across borders to create genre-blending hits.

By retaining the Afrobeat pulse of the original while layering in Amapiano-influenced rap and Afro-pop vocals, the “HOW FAR” remix stands as a testament to Africa’s evolving sound. It not only expands the song’s reach but also strengthens the cultural exchange between two of the continent’s most influential music hubs.

With this remix, NO11 and his collaborators have crafted a track that feels both familiar and refreshingly new — a celebration of unity through sound.
