South African stars Kabza De Small and Maglera Doe Boy are stepping onto the global stage, starring in Hennessy’s newly launched “Made for More” campaign. Joining forces with Nigerian powerhouse and GRAMMY Award-winner Tems, who was recently named Hennessy’s Global Ambassador, the campaign celebrates African creativity, cultural influence, and artistic innovation through striking visuals and immersive storytelling.
The “Made for More” rollout highlights a dynamic cast of African trailblazers, including Kabza De Small, Maglera Doe Boy, Congolese sensation INNOSS’B, and visionary artists Bahaati Simeons and Buqaqawuli Nobakada. Together, they embody the campaign’s mission to showcase Africa’s global impact across music, art, and culture.
At the heart of the campaign are three distinct worlds—Games Club, Art Club, and Jam Club—each designed to capture a different facet of Hennessy’s evolving connection with African expression.
In the Games Club, Tems teams up with INNOSS’B and Nigerian chess grandmaster Tunde Onakoya to merge intellect with culture, demonstrating how strategy and creativity intersect in unexpected ways.
The Art Club highlights Maglera Doe Boy alongside Tems in a surreal dreamscape filled with bold sculptures and vibrant murals, celebrating artistic freedom and storytelling through visual expression.
The Jam Club is where South Africa’s “King of Amapiano,” Kabza De Small, takes centre stage. Joined by Tems, the two artists fuse rhythm and soul in an intimate, high-energy performance space, symbolizing the spontaneity and heartbeat of African music.
Kabza and Maglera’s involvement in the campaign is no surprise. Both artists have long been part of Hennessy’s creative orbit, with their recent visit to the brand’s headquarters in Cognac, France, deepening the connection. Their inclusion alongside Tems signals not only the global relevance of Amapiano and South African rap but also Africa’s broader cultural influence on the world stage.
For Tems, taking on the role of Global Ambassador is about more than prestige—it’s about amplifying African voices worldwide. “Made for More” positions her, Kabza, Maglera, and their peers as cultural leaders who embody resilience, creativity, and vision.
