Tumi Musiq has taken a major step in his career by signing with Sony Music Entertainment Africa, marking a new era for the rising Amapiano DJ and producer. The Katlehong, Ekurhuleni-born artist is now part of one of the biggest music labels, a move that is set to propel his career to greater heights.
Alongside his new signing, Tumi Musiq, whose real name is Boitumelo Tshabalala (24), has dropped his latest single, “Thixo Bawo,” featuring Mia, George Lesley, and Jay Sax. The track blends his signature soulful Amapiano sound with elements of jazz and R&B, delivering a heartfelt and transformative musical experience.
Speaking with Daily Sun on the signing, Tumi Musiq expressed his excitement about joining Sony Music:

Describing his latest single, Tumi Musiq shared that “Thixo Bawo” is more than just a song—it’s a prayer and expression of gratitude.
