Young Stunna, known for his electrifying performances, soulful vocals, and cutting-edge style, has once again captured attention—not just for his music but for his heartfelt tribute to his late great-grandmother. The talented artist showcased a custom-made shirt designed by acclaimed South African designer Thebe Magugu, featuring a photo of his grandmother, Busisiwe.

Taking to Instagram, Young Stunna explained the inspiration behind the meaningful piece. He wrote, “Decided to wear my custom THEBE MAGUGU shirt. Thebe is a good friend of mine who made this shirt for me during his first Heirloom project when I told him about my upcoming album and what inspires it. This shirt features an image of my late great-grandmother and her name, BUSISIWE. The color green has a lot of spiritual meanings; the biggest one for me is growth, rebirth, and renewal.”

Young Stunna went on to reflect on his grandmother’s impact on his life, sharing how her teachings shaped him into the man he is today. “I’m about to continue a beautiful journey, and it’s gonna be a beautiful year for us. My second baby [album] is on the way, and it’s inspired by my gran’s teachings and how she raised us—to be fearless and confident, to never look like our problems or be swallowed by our struggles. She was the strongest woman I know, and I’m lucky to be raised by my great gran and my grandmothers too. I became a beautiful man, and I’m forever grateful.”

The shirt, part of Thebe Magugu’s Heirloom project, shows Young Stunna’s deeply spiritual connection to his roots and his commitment to honoring the women who raised him. The green color, symbolizing growth, renewal, and rebirth, aligns perfectly with his journey as an artist and a person.

Young Stunna continues to prove that his artistry transcends music, using every medium to tell stories that inspire and uplift. As he prepares to release his second album, fans can look forward to more heartfelt expressions rooted in his heritage and personal journey.
